Design Your Own Pool in 3D

How it works

Four steps, then it is yours

The studio walks the same order a designer does at your kitchen table. Nothing is locked, so go back and change anything at any point.

  1. 01

    Start with a silhouette

Eight shapes, from a clean rectangle to a free-form lagoon. Pull the length and width to the footprint your yard can take, then set how the floor slopes.

  2. 02

    Finish the water

Plaster, quartz, pebble or glass-bead interior, waterline tile, and the coping you will actually sit on. The water color in the render follows the finish you pick, the way it does in a real pool.

  3. 03

    Add what you will use

Tanning ledge, beach entry, bench seating, an attached spa, a swim-up bar, a grotto. Then the moving water: sheer descents, bubblers, deck jets, laminar jets, a rock waterfall, a slide.

  4. 04

    Put it in your backyard

Upload a photo of the yard, drag the pool where it goes, and match the camera angle. Then let the photoreal preview rebuild that exact picture as a photograph of your yard with the pool already built. Take a PDF spec sheet with you, or send the whole design to us.

What your design pins down

  • The shell shape, footprint and depth profile, exactly as you drew them
  • The interior finish, waterline tile and coping you selected
  • Decking material and the square footage the studio measured around your pool
  • Every in-pool feature, water feature and light you added
  • The equipment package you specified, ready to hand to our crew

What it cannot know yet

  • How your yard is graded and whether it needs retaining or fill
  • What is under the grass. Rock, clay and high water change excavation
  • Whether a machine can reach the dig, or the work has to be hand carried
  • Your city's permit, setback, fence and barrier requirements
  • Where the electrical panel and gas line sit relative to the equipment pad

We check all five on a free site visit, then put your price in writing. That written estimate is the only number we quote. Call (405) 298-9559 or send us your design.

Questions about the studio

Why does the studio not show a price?
Because a real number depends on your yard, not just the design. Access, soil and rock, grade, utilities, setbacks and permits all move the cost, and none of them can be known from a drawing. Send us the design or call, and we put a real number in writing after a free site visit.
Do I need to install anything to use it?
No. It runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download and no account. You only give us contact details if you save a design for a reopen link or send it to us.
How does the backyard photo work?
You upload a photo of your yard from your phone or computer. Your pool renders on a transparent background over it, and you drag it into position, match the camera height and export the result as one image, all in your browser. If you ask for the photoreal preview, that one combined picture is sent to our AI image service just to create the preview. We keep no copy and publish nothing.
Can I come back to a design later?
Yes. Save the design on the summary step with your name, phone and email, and you get a link that reopens that exact design on any device. You can also save a PDF spec sheet listing every selection.
What happens after I send a design to Ocean Pools?
Your selections come through with the message. We call to talk through the yard, book a free site visit, and come back with a plan and a written estimate. Nothing you do in the studio commits you to anything.
